Item 1034

DESIGN: UniCopter ~ Control - Flight - Swishring - Variable Azimuth Overview

This method is directed toward overcoming vibration from rotor-rotor downwash and downdraft.

The azimuths of the humps and dips moves as the airspeed changes.

 Notes:

Consider the swashring as two parts.

One part consists of the positioning uniball, the three mounting positions to the control rods from the mixer box (or hydraulic cylinders) and the mechanism for stopping any rotation of the part around the mast's axis.

The other part is the track for the pitch-link followers. It has the humps and dips. It is positioned by the above part and it can rotate about the masts axis so as to relocate the rotor-rotor aerodynamic interaction as the forward speed changes.
