DESIGN: SynchroLite ~ Rotor - Hub - 3-blade - CVJ & HS - Bearing - Elastomeric - Pitch - Radial

This bearing may be like the (1) radial bearing below, or to resist any axial load inward it may be like the (2) spherical bearing below.

Alternatively; (3) it might be like the radial bearing, but with a slight taper to resist inward axial forces. The shims for this configuration might come from producing a tapered tube, then cutting it up into a set of shorter pieces.

The following was done for 2-blade rotors and must be revised.

The design maximum flapping force, based on no coning angle, rigid blades, hover loading and an over-thrust factor of minus 25% is 2,553 lbs.
