OTHER: Miscellaneous - Thoughtless Idea - Traversing Blades

Overview:

The following is just a recording of the initial thoughts on a potentially good or lousy idea. To be thought about more deeply in the future.

Drawing:

Common to both:

Slow speed & Wide chord blades.

The profile drag on the blades assists with the traversing of the blades.

The intent is for the blades to be stopped during cruise.

Interleaving:

Both rotors turn outside forward.

The 'so called leading and trailing edges' of the blades are identical.

The oscillating traversing action of the blades is power driven with spring assist.

Coaxial:

All hubs oscillate 180º, between the crafts forward azimuth and aft azimith.

The blade is on the port side during CW oscillation and on the starboard side during CCW oscillation

The oscillating action of the hubs is power driven with spring assist.

Each blade has a leading edge and a trailing edge.

The oscillating traversing action of the blades is power driven with spring assist.
