Notes:

When comparing the allowable torque and weights of overrunning clutches gears and 2-stroke engines it is apparent that a doubling of the allowable torque results in a near doubling of the weight. Any discrepancy in this ratio will be offset by the elimination of electric starter, battery and wiring that is not needed for single cylinder engines.
