Alternatives for Consideration:

The Constant Velocity Rotor w/ Hub Spring method may be better.

Also consider the ElectrotorPlus method.

Objective:

To create a 3-bladed Offset Teetering Rotor, for the Intermeshing configuration, that has a smaller obliquity angle than the 25º on the Kaman 2-bladed teetering rotors.

To make it part of a complete and compact Principal Assembly; which consists of the power train, rotor hubs and upper flight controls.

This Principal Assembly is then combined with blades and a Peripheral Assembly, such as the SynchroLite's fuselage, or one developed by others, to create a helicopter that is; easy to fly, reliable, economical, homebuilt or prebuilt, transportable, and FAA Ultralight (max. 254 lb dry weight).

Features: (to simplify the piloting and improve the safety; thereby reducing the time and cost of pilot training.)

Laterally symmetrical handling. ~ (intermeshing configuration)

Faster cyclic response. ~ (incorporation of offset into the teetering rotors)

Greater engine reliability. ~ (using a larger engine, at a reduced rpm)

Automatic entry into autorotation. ~ (inclusion of a rotor governor)

Peripheral Assembly:
