The primary controller is responsible for the synchronizing of the two or three ESC's, and more.

"I need to provide an input to an ESC, (preferably without using a receiver, and remote controller) , I'm wondering what input ESCs detect on. For example is it voltage or Hertz, or something different, eg: Higher voltage = faster rpms (and vise versa), or higher hertz = higher rpms (and vise versa)."
