Electrotor-SloMo ~ Motor - Radial Flux - Stator

Notes to be eventually moved to appropriate Item page.

Lamination Core: "An alternative method is to insert long axial studs that pass through the holes in the core laminations to serve as strength members and to hold the stack in compression. These studs are insulated with tube material and have bolts on either end that are torqued up to apply pressure to the core." For the Electrotor these studs will also serve as the attachment to the frame.

Aluminum Interactions with Magnets

Heat Sink Compound: The use of this compound between the laminations and the (mast) Ring 1984 may enhance the transfer of the heat from the Laminations. But, will it affect the flux action and could it provide more room for the stator to shingle?
